For me its just the lower half I change, at home I'm in joggers or thin shorts for comfort, outside I want secure pockets so I have cargo shorts with zipped or buttoned pockets.

Sweatpants, and yes, at this point I'm basically beyond caring about how I look to random people in the street

I'm permanently in a tracksuit at home atm, sweatpants and hoody. In winter I wear a polo neck under my hoody. I pop to the local shop like that but nowhere else

Here's an outlier for you. Nice shirt and jeans or nice shorts outside most of the time. But at home, I'll switch to a skirt or loose fitting dress. Way more comfortable than pants. I'd wear them everywhere if I could, but being a cis man in an uber conservative rural town, it'd be inviting trouble. Luckily my wife loves it, it's actually good we met.

Generally, jeans and a t-shirt. Sometimes a button-up. A sweater if it's cold. Not much different than what I wear at work.

Most of my at home clothes are clothes I'd wear outside - usually it's leggings/gym shorts and some kind of tee, or hoodie/sweater in the colder weather. At home I usually take my bra off in the evening but she stays on if I'm out and about.

I do have a certain pair of sneakers that I only wear inside the house, because I wear orthotics for my flat feet and I don't want to track dirt from outside all over my floors.

I wear the same styles at home as outside. The idea that people let themselves go after pairing off always bothered me, so I make an effort to look good for my partner as if I was making an introduction. I never dress without thought.

Jeans and tshirt. It's rare that I wear anything else, inside or outside. Well, I usually add socks if I plan on putting on shoes.

I am currently in swimming trunks and nothing else, and of course I'd go outside wearing it. I can't swim in the pool otherwise.

Loose "house clothes." Some loose dresses and rompers from places like Ross, some loose, light pants. Old work t-shirts, etc. If wearing a bra, it's a relaxed sports bra only. And I always have a sweater with me (though it's about time I knit a new one 😮‍💨).

If I'm not getting out of the car, yes, I'll wear them outside. If not, I get dressed. I'm a big lady so walking out in a short dress that has all my flab hanging out would not be welcomed. I have worn the pants out though.

I just wear the same normal clothes for both. Most often it's something like my school uniform shirt/tie/skirt because I don't feel like changing out of it, though I typically wear it undone from the moment I start strolling home. Currently laying in a jean shirt and black pants.

No shoes inside. No hard pants on the bed. That’s about it.

So, yeah what I wear at the house is perfectly fine to wear anywhere else.

About the only difference is that I'm less prone to wear tank tops outside of my own yard, but that's a practical matter more than a social thing. I burn easy, so I prefer to keep my shoulders covered when I can't stay in shade. I wouldn't wear a tank everywhere though just because there are times and places where folks would be weird about it.

But t-shirts, polos, and similarly comfortable tops, idgaf about where it is, they're acceptable. I have button form stuff ranging from hawaiian shirts to dress clothes, but I prefer knitted fabrics against my skin in almost all weather. I err on thicker over knitted in really cold days, and tend to like a woven fabric under a poncho or other heavy rain gear.

But I've got a stack of tanks, and another of tees that's my primary wear.

Pants wise, the only thing I have that isn't jeans is my suit pants. I just like the combination of comfort and practicality they offer. I keep stuff in my pockets that I'll use multiple times a day, plus emergency meds. So stuff like sweats or lounge pants aren't useful for me, and they aren't less comfy than other stuff to me, since I keep them on the loose side.

Pajama pants and whatever shirt I happen to have already had on. Unless the shirt isn't comfortable somehow. Then I get a t-shirt or something.

I mostly just wear normal clothing at home; just jeans and a t-shirt or a sweater. I don't really hang on to worn out t-shirts/sweaters, unless they have some kind of special meaning to me. Once clothes get bigger holes in them I just throw them out or re-purpose them as rags...

So yeah, I just wear the same stuff at home that I would wear outside.

Clothes. I don't have lounge clothes or anything.

I have separate house clothes: old or stained tshirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings, shorts. I work in an office with a dress code, and at home I have a toddler and a dog. I change as soon as I get home to minimize the chance of accidents on my nice work clothes. That said, I do wear my house clothes outside for yard work, dog walks, or quick shopping trips (depending where I'm going and with who lol).

sweatpants and tshirt. i would not go barefoot outside tho, which i would do at home.

I don't live the kind of life where I'm either inside or outside. Usually I'm in and out all day.

So in summer I wear as little as possible while still being decent and in winter I wear thermal-lined pants and layers of undershirt-shirt-outerwear. In spring and fall I wear jeans and a hoodie.

• spring / autumn - 2 layers
• summer - 3/4 tees and shorts

Inside

• winter - 2 layers
• spring, summer and autumn - comfortably nude.

As soon as I get inside I strip down to my underwear and just wear that, even if it's freezing cold. Home is where the pants aren't.
