Oh, is that what we're gambling on? The goldfish memory of the American electorate?

For the record, goldfish have perfectly normal memories. They can even remember tricks.

These fuckers think elections will mean something by the Midterms. Which is not unexpected but still disappointing.

It's still possible that they will. The incompetence of the current regime even in executing their fascist dreams is... immense.

However, if midterms do mean something, it sure as shit won't be because of any competence displayed by the Dem leadership in this time of fucking crisis.

What interesting fucking times we live in.

Yeah, exactly. Don't vote against fascists until you get a perfect alternative.

I still think we should vote for them but unless they actually pursue policies that take away the ability of Republican state governments to oppress people were all just going to be some dumb sad assholes in November 2032 because President Buttigieg lost to Elon Musk after four years of getting jack shit done

Support Ranked Choice voting to get us some meaningful candidates!

And then they will fumble the ball like always. The U.S. needs a better political system, but I’m not holding my breath that that will happen, ever.

Yeah, they're trying to stop that too...

H.R. 3040: Preventing Ranked Choice Corruption Act:

Mr. Hamadeh of Arizona (for himself and Mr. Begich) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration

A State may not carry out any election for Federal office using a system of ranked choice voting under which each voter ranks the candidates for the office in the order of the voter’s preference

These DINOS are completely dependant on what the GOP has the done the last administration in order to become electable. more like dinos are completely codependant on GOP, and vice versa. they are hoping to scrape by on some wins so they grift and receive "large gifts" from the same donors. thats why they dont push on heavy raising taxes, or UBI, or healthcare the DNC would lose all thier political capital that way and become unelectable, just enough to wet peoples apetite. while the gop just can use hate, and fearmongering to get elected.

That's what we said about Roe and the GOP but here we are. Let's not forget FDR was elected four times.

i like to also add they want to grift from the same GOP donors, without making them look like the bad guys, eg the gop, because the gop has done such a bad job, they vote for D. people are starting to wake up to that. it was obvious how MITCH and the DNC were doing cat and mouse, its all orchestrated behind closed doors. the DNC cant afford to lose the GOP to elections, then they dont have an enemy, and they have to deal with more "bernies, AOCs" down the line.

By not fighting the current despot's plans? Are they hoping to hurt us so much we will turn up at the polls? WTF are they doing to earn our confidence?

Replace these sick fucks with AOCs and Kat Abu type people.

eh, will your main appeal always be "we are better than absolute fuckwit sexist, homophobic Nazis". Please make way for people who are actually there to change something instead of actively blocking them so you can save your seats.

Schumer has got to go. He is responsible for much of this as it is.

His spineless simpering responses to everything MAGA have been laughably inadequate for years. He's been 100% dead to me since he collaborated with that clumsy Republican smear campaign against Al Franken to destroy his career. It's not enough to primary him out of office, he needs to be forced to resign in embarrassing and humiliating fashion.

I’m sorry is this like some halftime game that’s what’s gonna push this “team” to make the other look silly for a minute. Like why is this a game-ify of a title and responsibility of gov officials. Like come on!

they better do more than just say "we are not trump, or not the gop, or we continue to be "progressive, by supporting GOP led legislation(schumer)." and yes most of us know you are more or less the same side of the coin as the gop, when behind the doors you orchestrate which outrage you will do.

What's even the point? Wealth and corruption won, and was always going to. Buckle in and enjoy watching America become a single party authoritarian state. Life won't change too much for most people. A little poorer, a little less able to bitch about politics, but not so bad.

There won't be a 2026 midterm election. HitlerPig can't afford to lose either chamber majority, and allow the Democrats to control investigative committees with subpoena and arrest powers.

He will continue to stir up 😵‍💫 now, making more and more people angry, and letting the protests grow. Next summer, he will encourage his Red hats to instigate trouble at protests around the nation, then use Federal troops to quell the trouble with ferocious violence, which he will blame 100% on the protesters.

Then he will declare Martial Law, and suspend elections until peace is restored, and since he controls the peace, that will never happen.

Once we've missed the 2026 Midterms, it will be easier to skate past the 2028 Presidential election, and then the Constitution is fully dead.
