So, a few weeks or months ago, I can't remember. I heard that a virus was discovered in some mods like betterminecraft at platforms like curseforge. I rember watching some videos on YouTube of youtubers like PhoenixSC. And I said to myself "well, then I'll just wait until this is solved". And this morning I wanted to install some mods but remembered this virus thing. Is this already solved? Can we download mods once again?

The "mod virus problem" will never truly be solved. New infected mods are always popping up, and always will be. It's an easy way for hackers to infect computers, since kids blindly install random mods all the time. Only install trusted and well-known mods, and only download them from trusted sources, to minimize risk.

    They're talking about fracturizer which was a virus that WAS in "trusted mods" (BetterMC modpack) and on a "trusted source" (Curseforge). I get what you're say but in this specific case there have been steps taken to ensure fracturizer doesn't infect any more mods.
