All posts must include the location (city/region, country)
Images and videos must be of acceptable quality and resolution
Brief context or description of the location is encouraged
No heavily filtered or digitally manipulated images that misrepresent the location

2. Respectful Content

No content that mocks or degrades local cultures, customs, or people
Avoid controversial political commentary
Be mindful when photographing people; respect privacy and local customs

3. Post Format

Use clear, descriptive titles
Include the location in [brackets] at the beginning of the title
Example: "[Kyoto, Japan] Cherry blossoms along the Philosopher's Path"
If posting historical content, include the year when possible

4. Community Interaction

Be respectful in comments and discussions
Share information and personal experiences constructively
No spam, self-promotion, or commercial content
Unhelpful and rude content will be removed

5. Prohibited Content

No explicit or inappropriate content
No advertisement or solicitation
No misinformation about locations or cultures
No content promoting unethical tourism

6. Environmental Responsibility

Do not share content that promotes environmental damage
Do not encourage or showcase activities harmful to natural or historical sites

7. Content Diversity

Try to share unique perspectives and lesser-known locations
Popular tourist destinations are welcome but should offer a unique angle or insight
Encourage diversity in geographic representation

Hi, welcome to the community, we are looking for moderators. The moderation load is extremely small, so this is more about having backups in case some people go AWOL.

Partly. You can check the sidebar for a fuller description, but it’s a community meant to share photos and videos of different places on earth. Ie. landscapes (both inhabited and wild).
