Kind of speaks to the need for quasi-independent agencies, staffed by subject matter experts and operating beyond the reach political cycle. Which wont happen until the economy completely collapses. When the US isolationism kicks in full steam, goodbye the value of the dollar as the world trade tilts away and that debt turns to a depression.
