Mexican authorities and an advocate for human rights say the bullet crossed the border from El Paso on Saturday near the Bridge of the Americas. It then struck the man in the leg in Ciudad Juarez. According to the Border Network for Human Rights (BNHR), that man was not attempting to cross the border, but practicing sports with a group.

I'm surprised it's taken this long. permalink fedilink source hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 20 points 2 years ago Taken this long? Texas exists because they don't give a shit about what belongs to Mexico. permalink fedilink source parent [–] chaogomu@kbin.social 17 points 2 years ago This is not the first cross border shooting. Sadly, it's pretty common. The Conservatives of the US Supreme Court even weighed in on one of them and said it was a-okay to murder a kid across the border. permalink fedilink source parent
