As someone who has given out a lot of tabs, this is actually false. If they have Aphantasia, they don't get the internal hallucinations. They'll see the walls get wavy, but the DMT style trips just don't happen for these people typically.

    I actually have aphantasia :)
    I get open-eyed distortions and wavyness, and can see some images with my eyes closed. I have very little control over what I see, and it is more like short glimpses, but it is tons more interesting than the black void I usually stare into with my eyes closed!
