I was using "gerrymandered" as a synecdoche for general election tampering and ratfucking, not in the literal sense of drawing districts.

Sorry if I wasn't being clear enough 🙂

    It means to use one in place of the whole (or the other way around). Like how sailors are called hands, cattle are heads, and most Republicans are dicks.
