You're humanizing him too much.

He's a known teetotaler. He's sitting there fuming and sober, eating well-done steak with ketchup.

    I guess trump says those drugs are okay, it's only alcohol that's bad.

    Coke, Adderall, Xanax, etc. are fine, I just think he has reduced the intake a bit since the 80s.

    Trump doesn’t like alcohol because it lowers inhibition and he can no longer convince himself he’s not the dumbest person in the room.

    He doesn’t like feeling out of control, so alcohol is out, but uppers don’t really do that. Memory loss from Xanax is easier to write off, because you don’t realize anything is different in the moment (or at least I don’t)
