My parents would absolutely not have tolerated such things. It would've felt like a continuation of sneaking around behind their backs as a teenager. How does that dynamic work in countries that commonly have adult children living at home? Especially if you're working and contributing to the family expenses. If your parents don't understand that, well, I guess you'll end up being in the percentage that leaves home. They practically only come home to sleep and eat. That's their escape. That's one of the reasons, I think, why some people feel like there are much more migrants than there actually are.
