You specifically may not own a Blu-Ray player, but there have been 280 million non-dedicated devices from a single company sold that play them. That's not counting other consoles like Xbox One and Series X, computers with BD drives, and dedicated BD players. Seems like a far cry from your statement that nobody owns one.
