"Penetration" , "Thrusting into" , "etc .... Ukraine pulls russias hair and leans in close, whispering "take it all, whore" permalink fedilink source parent [–] Wrench@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago (2 children) I mean, Ukraine does not have the ability to hold anything or do a sustained push. It would be foolish to try. Going in, destroying supplies and infrastructure, and then leaving is the smart move unless there are good choke points to hold. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] jonne@infosec.pub 13 points 2 years ago Yeah, I hope that's the plan, otherwise they'll just lose everyone they sent over there. Go in, destroy a bunch of stuff and leave is the smart plan. It'll force Russia to keep substantial amounts of troops in Russia to avoid a repeat, shows they're weak and boosts morale in Ukraine. permalink fedilink source parent [–] JesusSon@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago Obviously, they can't go all the way to Moscow but Kursk or bust doesn't have the same ring to it. permalink fedilink source parent
