You can block a community by going to the community and tapping block in the bar under the community title:

How do you unblock? I don't see any settings in Sync for unblocking a community you block in this way. Is it only accessible through the account settings by logging into your home instance with browser?

Also, is there an easier way to add to the community filter list in Sync?

Unblock isn't hooked up yet nor can you view a list of all blocked yet but these are both on the issue tracker and I'll be adding them soon
