I think The Evil Dead is the most consistent horror franchise. Like Alien and The Exorcist have incredibly high highs but the lows are abhorrent.

I think that the movies sub is a good place for horror. Yes, there are other genres there but we're in a golden age for horror films with A24 cranking out bangers. Horror always does well at the box office so you can pretty much be guaranteed a thread for each new release.
