A van or a bus is always better than a pick up in any way shape or form, except if you need to tow really heavy shit. The only people driving these stupid things are usually the bosses of said handymen who have an excuse to buy it.

Yeah. Most people just want a tool chest they can drive places. And as driving tool chests, vans are vastly superior in almost every conceivable way, with towing capacity being the sole exception.
