Doesn't that actually absolve them of their shit behavior? It isn't the same to try and scam grandmas because you want a shinier car than because you're locked at a basement and beaten up if you don't make your kidnappers money.

Sorry, when I said "So that's fun", I was being sarcastic

But that's kinda what I was trying to get at. You don't really know if a scammer is being trafficked or not, so casting a wide net that calls all of them human garbage becomes difficult
