In light of recent news regarding USA lifting the ban on using their weapons to strike Russia, this happens. Using a Russian news source, as I've not seen western media report on it (if you have a link, please share)

It called narrative control.

If you think that ActivityPub universe is somehow not biased, not controlled by bots with specific political agenda, that’s your wake up call.
