Following the last thread about some update of the description (https://lemmy.ml/post/3724195), I just wanted to point out that there only moderator we have has been unheard since 8 days (last comment was here: https://lemmy.ml/comment/2503991)

I opened a request on !community_requests@lemmy.ml 12 days ago, but nobody addressed it: https://lemmy.ml/post/3172834.

At that point in time, I just wanted to unpin that thread. I'm not even interested in moderating that community, I got a few others in the meantime.

I even questioned the usage of community_requests on !meta@lemmy.ml : https://lemmy.ml/post/3701125

Long story short, even if we were to have an agreement (which is probably not the case), we would not even be able to actually change anything for now.

I am out of the loop. What would be the reason for doing this?

    Consolidating too many communities and users in a single large instance makes the fediverse vulnerable, not just to attacks, but also to poor decisions by the owners of the large instance, such as what happened with Reddit
