We just hit 2000 subscribers! I’d like to thank everyone for showing up here to create a new community, and what better way than giving stuff away?

I’m giving away the Nitecore MH10 v2 I reviewed. I can ship it anywhere in the USA or EU, but EU winners will have to wait until mid September. This is a basic, beginner-friendly flashlight that can accept almost all 18650 and 21700 batteries.

Is this a bad time to mention that the D1K is on sale for $30, and can be had with the new Nichia 719A?

    Interesting. I've been eyeballing a boost-driver D1 for a bit, but after seeing the SC65c thermal throttling and knowing how quickly most Noctigon and Emisars step down due to heat, I might go for a DM11 since it has a bigger head, and will put more lumens "on target" with the TIR. My larger lights are all bucked/boosted and are set up for reasonable sustained output instead of being 30 second hand melters
