Sometimes, I confuse cramps and hunger pangs. There's also cravings that can be associated with periods.

I don't know about others, but my period cramps often feel pretty similar to the kind of pain you feel when you're really hungry. And also lots of people get food cravings on their period. It's usually something specific they have a craving for. I usually want chocolate, honey, or croissants, but sometimes it's just food in general even if I'm not actually hungry.
