I'd say if a fixation comes with voluntary self-isolation it shows that something is amiss, although it might not be the lack of love. Yes, I didnt think that either. Some people probably felt called out or misunderstood what I meant. Obviously, it can be a range of things. I tried to factor in what things are displayed in animes a lot.
