They seem to be a very love them or hate them type of band. They were pretty wild in the early days too (pre cali), so had some bad press during a lot of the me too/cancel culture thing. I’m a huge fan of Frusciante. I almost died. And when it was over, the real surprise came. It's a double CD. I think RHCP is the best musical example of 'Awful taste, great execution' (for me).
