Do you have a 1 sentence description/comparison? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] MaShinKotoKai@lemmy.world 2 points 3 years ago (1 child) Metaphysical cerebral drama. The only unfortunate thing I will say about the show is it fell victim to the Netflix ban train. It was meant to have 5 seasons and only got 2. The creators have been very vocal and consistent with saying they want to bring the end to us no matter what though. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] NielsBohron@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago* (last edited 3 years ago) (1 child) That's too bad. Are the first two seasons worth watching on their own or should I see if it finds a new home before starting it? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] MaShinKotoKai@lemmy.world 3 points 3 years ago Personally, I love the show for the symbolism in it. I've gone back and rewatched it maybe 6 or 7 times. I just wish it had more. That said, I'd say it's worth a watch. permalink fedilink source parent [–] Falmarri@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago (1 child) I thought it was pretty awful. It's incredibly pretentious and just generally really stupid. End of season one was honestly pretty embarrassing, and the fact that anyone liked it is honestly baffling permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] NielsBohron@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago (1 child) I mean, to be honest, I tend to like pretentious sci-fi, so I still might give it a chance, but thanks for giving me some context for prioritization permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Falmarri@lemmy.world 2 points 3 years ago (1 child) This really is barely sci fi permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] NielsBohron@lemmy.world 1 point 3 years ago Heard. permalink fedilink source parent
