tl;dr: A curation page is made to inform users if Sweet Baby worked a game or not. Sweet Baby employees started to harass (mass flag campaign) the curation page and it’s maker.

    same time as all these ridiculous policies.

    What policies? Best I can tell SBI is a company developers choose to consult with, there is no policy forcing them to do so.

    I feel bad for those who actually deserve what they've achieved,

    So to be clear, you believe this list is full of quality games created by people who deserve success, and this list exists in order to... What? Warn people not to give them the success they deserve?
