I keep a wireless mouse and keyboard near both of my TVs/comfy chairs and have a main controller I use wireless in one room but wired in another so I don't need to re-pair it. My gaming PC is setup for Wake On LAN so I can wake it from my phone. They are stupid expensive new, but luckily they are popular with tech startups. When those startups inevitably fail, they sell their chairs at a deep discount. I’ve bought two like that and I suspect they will last forever.
