The governor of western Russia's Kaliningrad region blamed the 18th-century German enlightenment philosopher Immanuel Kant for the outbreak of war in Ukraine. β€œHe is directly related to the military conflict in Ukraine,” Anton Alikhanov, who governs the western exclave of Kaliningrad, said Friday at a local political science forum.

Well. Having to live in Russia and apparently feeling the urge to make these kind of ludicrous comments on a regular basis to please this insane mobster state and ensure it won't be your turn to be dropped out of the nearest window for the next couple of months seems to be a punishment in itself.
