George Washington was elected at age 57. It took until 1850 for there to be a president who was born in the 1800s. It took until 1961 for a president to be born in the 1900s. Donald Trump is older than both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Before them we literally had presidents born in the 1920s. Reagan was born before WW1! Obama was the outlier.
