Cats are true masters of the grift, kittens have unlocked the compounding effects of cat cuteness multiplied by baby cuteness that almost becomes a cognitohazard which hijacks other mammals parental instincts. kind of like the mammilian version of parasitic birds that make other species take care of their young. Toxoplasmosis probably doesn't help either.
