Should have used a FLAC instead of a WAV. Its lossless.

    I mean aren't they both lossless?

    Edit:

    Apparently it depends on the codec wrapped in the RIFF, of which WAV is an instance of.

    That said, the most common format for wav is apparently LPCM, which is lossless and uncompressed.
