There's a reason for this mechanism and it's not true. The Senate was a democratic majority just a few years ago so it's not impossible. The issue is we are always holding on by a thin margin to either the house or Senate. Again, I'm not advocating anything, but if a system of government is no longer representing the will of the people, actively working to hurt those people, and the people have no mechanism to peacefully recall a high ranking member of the government, especially a lifetime appointment, the only option left is violence.
