Im worried about the kids of today being driven to become terminally online. The opportunities for children to go out and have fun are diminishing because of rising costs and increasing car centric infrastuctures. I feel like this is why more and more children are becoming depressed and isolated

Speaking of 3rd places, napapaisip ako minsan kung viable pa ang "3rd place" exclusive groups (ie eagles, masons, rotary). Ive never been involved in any pero nawala na yung "mystery" ba sa mga grupong mga ganyan? The exclusive networking seems more or less gone with today's interconnectivity.

my definition of a 3rd place is a communal space where there is little to no capital(money) needed to enter so think the library , church , public parks those clubs are still exclusive in the sense that you need an absurd level of influence or cash to enter
