I don't believe that was actually from a Christian parent. I salute whoever successfully trolled a news station.

    When I was a kid, someone gave me a Transformers toy. After I came home with it, we destroyed it ritualistically to ensure that the demons within it would not plague our home.

    Or, more simply: oh you sweet summer child.
