I haven't used it personally, but our UX lead is designing the theming system, whereas Ashley is working on theme support for libcosmic, and they were looking for something that supports oklch to generate themes from selected accent colors.

    @mmstick @Ogeon Have you looked into the algorithm Google uses for material you on Android? You could use it to do the same in Cosmic.
