I'm pretty sure the vast majority of Americans would love to have the social services available in most of Europe (vacation time, parental leave, universal healthcare, universal college-level education, etc.). They just have no idea it's even an option. My favorite is always American boomers complaining about universal healthcare being "socialist"...while being on Medicare.
