I got my finger slammed in the car door but luckily it didn't lock like that. I could see bone. We were getting ice cream and my dad sent be from the window of the shop to go deliver moms to her. The door closed on it, but thankfully didn't lock. I just had to knock on the door with my other hand (she was inside) to get her to open it. Very painful but no permanent injury. Ever since, when I've been in a similar situation, I either pass through the open window or I actually step into the swing path of the door. permalink fedilink source parent
