Also there's no guarantee 6/10 is above the mean in a subjective dataset.

He could be the lowest ranked out of 1000 while the mean rating is 7.8

    Yes, we would need to know all of the ratings of this dick-rating person to see where the mean and median are. We could then also calculate the standard error to see if this man's phallus is below average, about average or a top cock.
