plant-based foods emit fewer greenhouse gases than meat and dairy, regardless of how they are produced.

Besides the fact that this is plain wrong, even if we get rid of the rich we would still have to abandon animal agriculture if we don't want our planet to become inhabitable. Cheap whataboutism :/
