Why is voyager.lemmy.ml a blocked instance ? (programming.dev)

This is an instance created as staging environment for voyager, as mentioned here

But looks like it is blocked in programming.dev, because of which I can't access it while being logged in to programming.dev instance.

The testing instances were all blocked so that test posts didnt start populating the feeds

the voyager instance also has no relation to the voyager app, its not a staging area for it

if theres demand for a testing area we can make a testing community here and hide it from the feeds by default

    The author himself mentioned that it is a staging instance for voyager.

    "No connection to the Voyager app, it's a staging environment for Lemmy named re: Star Trek". Theyre saying its a staging area for lemmy itself not voyager

    its named after the tv series star trek voyager. theres also enterprise.lemmy.ml named after star trek enterprise
