I'm so desperate to get hold of one. The irony is, I threw literally hundreds of them into skip bins in the late 90's doing IT work and didn't think anything of it. Live and learn. The hoarders got it right. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Oha@lemmy.ohaa.xyz [S] 3 points 2 years ago oof, that hurts permalink fedilink source parent [–] Mandarbmax@lemmy.world 1 point 2 years ago (1 child) Don't despair! They have oodles of them on ebay and you can even get them made new and in the USA from Unicomp! permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] bandario@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 years ago (1 child) I'm not in the USA. I think after shipping was included the Unicomp came out at almost $400AUD - it's just not feasible. Similar for ebay sales from USA. I've consoled myself with an 8bitDo retro keyboard. It's pretty slick! Obviously not buckling spring, but it is wireless and has a volume knob. It really does remind me of a vic20 keyboard in feel. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Mandarbmax@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago $400AUD!? My goodness that sucks. I'm glad to hear you found something else nice though! permalink fedilink source parent
