The Onion should start fabricating positive headlines for a change, given that everything they write becomes increasingly truer.

    Or maybe don't blame the entertaining messenger for the people actually in charge constantly making dark satirical dystopia reality? I vote for that.

    I don’t think the blame is being put on the messenger here, but rather the world for delving ever deeper into what used to be a satirical view of itself.
