Investigators being sent with prior warning seemingly defeats most of the point imo.

    It doesn't, there have been claims for decades anyone that goes to the frozen continent legit gets a warning about it.

    Yeah, but having experience working in industries affected by this particular boys club plague (tech mostly) you'd be shocked how quickly the biggest degenerates you know can cover up shit and turn face when given warning. Only have to maintain the guise till the investigation is over. :(

    The idea is that they do not need to be secret, they have what they need now they're collecting perjurious statements to add to convictions.
