This appears when I try to comment on hexbear.net via Connect. I can comment just fine via browser.
Sometimes I get this after the servers were recently down. Force closing and reopening the app seems to fix it for me as long as the site is still up. If the backend is still down and I can't access it via browser then it obviously doesn't work.
