4. No recent reposts

Everybody uses Arch btw, can't quit Vim, <loves / tolerates / hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.

This is primarily an English-speaking community. 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇺🇸

Comments written in other languages are allowed.

The substance of a post should be comprehensible for people who only speak English.

6. (NEW!) Regarding public figures

yeah, nvidia drivers are still weird on linux. Whenever I upgrade nvidia drivers on Mint, first I change to nouveau, otherwise the monitor goes black until I reset the computer.

Yeah whenever I updated on Manjaro, I had to drop to a terminal, uninstall the old drivers, and then reinstall the new ones.

Ditto.

Install OS, timeshift.
Get Nvidia, CUDA and CuDnn all playing together, timeshift.
Install everything else safe in the knowledge that no matter how badly I break things at least I won't have to do step 2 again.
