Reworked Memmy still great on iPad Landscape? (feddit.de)

Hello everyone,

App Store tells me there is a new version and I‘m a bit afraid to update. I disabled auto update when I read there would be a complete rework of the app. I tried other apps and they could‘t handle large cards on iPad landscape mode (all except for one) or didn‘t have the swipe back feature (the one). So there is no real alternative for me out there. I‘m not sure if the memmy devs really cared for iPad landscape mode or if it was working ‚by accident‘.

Does anyone use iPad landscape mode and can confirm that it stills works great?

I use it on an iPad in landscape mode more or less exclusively, and I seems to work the same to me. That said, I don’t use advanced gestures (or any gestures, actually), so if those changed I wouldn’t notice. But the actual display on my iPad in landscape, navigation, etc., works well.

    Gestures work well, too!

    The one thing that has become worse for me is that the label for the username of the poster invisibly extends all the way to the right side (at least in compact mode). That sometimes result in being taken to the user’s profile page instead of the main body of the post, because I clicked the elongated username label rather than the main post card.

    OP, be aware that updating will wipe your settings and you’ll have to re-do everything from scratch.
