The Character Sheet summarizes an early playtest of Critical Role's upcoming fantasy RPG DAGGERHEART. TL; DR: it is NOT a D&D clone--task resolution is 2d12 based, results might be success or failure, and either can carry with it Fear, or Hope. There are classes / roles, sounds like MANY ancestries are planned. Highly narrative, but we expected that, right?

Candela Obscura might be up your alley as well. I haven't watched yet, but it's an original game and episodes are only 30 minutes.

No, they're regular length. I believe you're mixing the episode length up it with Midst, the podcast they acquired.

Everywhere I've seen them posted, the episodes are full length, but they DO have a much smaller cast, only 4 PCs, which was what hooked me.

I just might check it out! I was recently thinking that I might give them another go anyway. Especially since they've got a podcast feed, which is how I'd rather follow it.

...though I do wish it was edited down. :|
