Supposedly he said it on live TV. That'd be a hell of a thing for Russia to lie about lol

    Oh yeah- like russia doesn't lie about obvious things. Bombing civilians at railways, bombing civilians sheltering under theaters, bombing civilians in maternity wards, bombing civilians in retirement homes etc etc etc.

    I'd be willing to bet money someone is deliberately misquoted or changing context of somethig said.
