Even though this guy is obviously being a wimp, I feel for a brother.

Society gives men a bunch of mixed messages with no good advice, and then wonders why so many good men aren't out there meeting women.

When I was in college I felt like garbage because even though I knew I wasn't looking, it sucked being alone in a strange city while one of my biological alarms was blaring. I deferred that gratification until later, but in the moment even if you're doing it intentionally it still sucks a lot.

I wrote the second to last chapter of The Graysonian Ethic as "On Attraction" specifically because of this, because without good advice men will find themselves in a storm without a rudder.
