If the Dems win the Senate, there's a significant possibility Trump will be impeached for real. If he resists, it'll be a coup, plain and simple. Hegseth purged the military but I'm not sure the remaining generals will let it pass. The rest of the article give a few other examples of blatant abuse of power that I'm not sure every Republican would be comfortable with. I guess what I mean is there's a limit on how fast you can move the goalposts, and a "grand finale" on Trump remaining 2 years might be met with heavier resistance that the first half of his second mandate. permalink fedilink source parent
