Ottawa-based Telesat has signed a $2.3 billion deal with the federal government’s Defence Investment Agency to provide secure satellite connectivity across the Arctic for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Unfortunately if you want to launch stuff into space you're kinda in a tough spot at the moment. The only companies that have a significant number of commercial launches available are run by rich assholes happy enough to watch the world burn while claiming stupid crap like "if we had more kids there'd be more firefighters to fight the fires we're accelerating/people to feed into some techno-feudal solution".
