I don't use that number myself, so I'm not sure how it is calculated. I can operate without X. But, not everyone can. For example, there are governmental organizations that only publish announcements on X. So, some people are going to need to use a mirroring service (or X itself) until they can get entities outside their direct control to change behavior, which always takes time. permalink fedilink source parent
